The present paper reports 3 new species of Laelaps collected off Mus pahari Thomas, from Guizhou Province, China. All the type specimens are deposited in the Dapartment of Parasitology, Guiyang Medical College. 1. Laelaps oligosetosa, sp. nov. Female (figs. 1--3) Idiosoma small, 469μ in length, broad oval in shape, dark brown in colour. Scutum averaging 433×340μ, with 35 pairs of setae, D_7 and I_(1-3) absent; the setae on the center of the plate smaller than the peripheral ones, especially S_(8-8) and D_8, S_8 about 1/5 length of M_(11), S_6 only 1/3 of S_5. Sternal plate twice as long as broad, with an echelon on the posterior margin. Genitoventral plate flask-like, widest at the level of Vl_2, its posterior margin round, the distance between Vl_1 somewhat longer than that between Vl_4. Ad rather heavier than PA. Peritreme extending to behind coxa I. Both setae on coxa I piliform. Pilus dentilis fine in base, expanded immediately, terminal portion bended. Male (figs. 4--6) Body oval, 428 μin length, light meddy yellow in colour. Scutum 418×275μ, with 35 pairs of setae. Holoventral plate 344 μ long, 203μin maximum width, bearing 10 1/2 setal pairs. Ad rather heavier than PA. Digitus fixus long and spear-like, its tip beyond the midpoint of spermdaetyl. Holotype (?) , allotype (?) and paratypes (38(?), 1(?), 5 protonymphs) were collected off Mss pahari Thomas and Apodemus chevrieri Milne-Edwards, from Guizhou Province, Xing-yi and Du-yun Shien. etc. 2. Laelaps guizhouensis, sp. nov. Female (figs. 9--11) Idiosona, oval, yellowish in colour, 605 μ in length, 405 μ in width. Dorsal plate 573×377μ, with 3) setal pairs, M_(11) twice the length of S_8. Sternal plate 112 μ long (in middle) , and 175 μ in maximun width; anterior margin of the plate flat, bearing a pair of tubercles anterio- laterlly to St_(11) posterior margin of the plate coaeave, with an eehellon. Ge- nitoventral plate 242 μ long, 162 μ in maximum width, the distance between Vl_1 merey half of that between Vl_4. Anal plate triangular, 98×93μ, PA twice the length of Ad. Peritreme extending to the anterior portion of coxa Ⅱ. Coxa Ⅰ Ⅱ, Ⅲ bearing one spur each. Chelae toothsd, pilus dentilis stra- ight and long, the terminal end bent and inflated, smoking pipe in shapc. Holotype and paratypes (1) were collocted off Mus pahari Thomas, from Guizhou Province, Che-heng Shien etc. 3. Lclaps xingyiensis, sp. nov. Famale (figs. 12--16) ldiosoma large, 801 μ in length, broad oval in shape, and dark brown in colomr. Scutum 747×553μ in average, bearing 39 setal pairs, M_(11) twice the length of S_8, S_8 only half of S7. Sternal plate 154 μ long (in middlg) , 233 μ wide (widest point) , anterior margin convex, and posterior margin concave, with eehslon. Genitoventral plate 296 μ in leng- th, 201 μ in width, the distance between Ⅵ_1 shorter than that between Vl_4. Anal plate triangular, anterior margin somewhat convex, with angular projec- tures in lateral sides, 45×27μ. Peritreme extending to the middle of coxa Ⅰ. Coxae Ⅰ , Ⅱ, Ⅲ bearing one spur, and tarsi Ⅱ, Ⅲ two spurs each. Chelae toothed, pilus dentilis slender, the terminal portion rather inflated, spatulate in shape. Holotyp were coiIcteed off Mus pahari Thomas and Apodemus chevrieri Milne-Edwards, from Guizhou Pcovince, Xingyi Shien etc.
