摘要(Abstract)：

对贵州省某锑矿建矿36年来因尘肺造成的经济损失进行调查,该矿共发生尘肺936例,死亡446例。选用1987年的平均工资福利及物价水平来衡量经济损失。结果直接和间接经济损失之和为3513.1万元。1970年以来随着防尘设施的逐步完善,发病人数大幅度下降,而添置设备耗资仅为经济损失的1/63。
Owing to the deficiency of general dust-proof measures and facilities at an antimony mine in Guizhou since its founding to 1987,there had been 936 cases of pneumoconiosis,among which 446 miners died.As a consequence,an enormous economic loss was caused by taking into account of the average wages,welfare funds as well as te price index in 1987.The direct economic losses-including the wages of the cases suffering from pneumoconiosis,pension for the disabled or the familiy of the deceased,medical expenses and physical examination fees as well-amount to 6.421 5 million yuan, which equals to a loss of 1284.3 tons of refined antimony at the price of 50000 yuan per ton that very year.The indirect economic loss comes to 28.709 million yuan,including the assumed in-post value and the cost for replenishing the vacancies.The statistics of both the direct and indirect economic lasses add up to 35.151 million yuan,and the average loss of each case is 37 500 yuan.The ratio be- tween direct and in direct loss is 1:4.47.With the gradual improvement of dustproof ficilities since 1970,the incidence of this disease has considerably dropped.Yet,the expenditure on the fresh supply of equipment and installations is equivalent to 1/63 of the total economic loss.
