摘要(Abstract):
Amphalius spirataenius diqingensis subsp, nov. Type specimen: From Deqin, Yunnan, off Ochotona t. thibetana, in Jan. to August, 1965, holotype male, allotype female and 6 male 12 female paratypes. From Zhongdian, Yunnan, off Eothenomys custos, in June, 1958, I male paratype. Diagnostic characters: In male, the apical portion of the posterior elongation of the movable process is shorter than that of the basal portion, while in the nominate subsp., they are about equal. In female, the subventral sinus of the 7th sternite is narrower and finger-like, its lower lobe is narrower and longer, reaching about 2/3 of the large truncate upper lobe. There are 22--25 lateral bristles on the 8th tergite, darker, spiniform and pointed radially. Body length: male, 2. 8-3. 2mm, female, 3. 5-3. 6mm. Comparison of specimens from Yunnan, Sichuan and Qinghai, A. spirataenius may be divided into 3 subsp.: I. A. spirataenius spirataenius Liu, Wu & Wu, 1966. The description of the nominate subspecies was based on a single male collected at Ganzi, Xizong (Tibet) , from Ochotona thibetana in May, 1963. Smit (1975) based on both maleand female specimens collected from Nepal, described the female for the first time. The 7th sternite of the female pocesses an obtuse big upper lobe, a rounded much shallower sinus and a much smaller rounded lower lobe, which, as shown by Smit's drawing, reaches only about 1/3 of the upper lobe. 2. A. S. qinghaiensis subsp, nov. Li, Xie & Yang. A. spirataenius Tsai, Wu & Liu, 1978 syn. partum. Specimens of Tsai et al were recorded from Qinghai, off O. curzoniae and O. thomasi in May to August, 1966, consisted of 8 males and 11 females. Record of specimens we examined: Qinghai, off O. thamasi in Sept. 1978, 1 male and 1 female; Deqin, Yunnan, off O t. thibetana in August, 1965, 3 females; Songpan, Sichuan, off O. cansus in July, 1979, 3males and 2 females; Nanping, Sichuan, off O. cansus in June, 1979, 1 female. The fe- male of the Qinghai subspeeies are characterized by their 7th sternite, which has a large obtuse posterior lobe, somewhat truncate, without any tra ce of a sinus. 3. A. spirataenius diqingensis Subsp. nov. As shown above, we found in Deqin there are 2 subspecies of A. spirataenius: A. s. diqingensis subsp. nov. and A. S. qinghaiensis and presime it is the locality where two subspe- cies met.
