库蚊一新种一天坪库蚊
A NEW SPECIES OF CULEX(DIPTERA,CULICIDAE)

摘要(Abstract):

<正> 1977年初秋,在带领医学动物进修班学员赴广西实习时曾在天坪山采获一批孑孓,并经隔离培养育出两性成虫。经研究,确系班翅库蚊组一新种,根据产地命名为天坪库蚊[Culex(Culex)tianpingensis sp.nov.] 一、形态描述雌蚊中型蚊,翅长3.7~4.3毫米。头头顶正中盖以金黄色平覆鳞和散在竖鳞,后头有众多的金黄色竖鳞,少量暗色竖鳞分布在枕部两侧,两颊有乳白色宽鳞区并向眼
The new species, Culex (Culex) tianpingensis sp. nov, was collected from Tian- pingshan, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. It is a midium-sized mosquito, wing 3. 7-4. 3mm in length. Distinguished from the members fo the mimeticus complex by having first costal pale spot at about middle of wein C, usually involving C. Sc. RI. Rs and M. The pale spots of the wing are praeti- tally indistinguishable from those of a type of C. mimulus. However, the adult can be distinguished by: (1) the presence of a group of long hairs on the underside of the pale ring of proboscis of male; (2) distimere without dis ti-net subbapical crest of miunte spicules; (3) median division of lateral plato of phallosome with 3-4 digitiform processes, more or less curved and pointing lateroeauded or laterad. And in the larva by: (1) comb scales with lateral fringes and a strong, distinct median spine; (2) the siphon gently curved~ (3) most of the siphonal tufts double, the 4 proximal pairs strong, their length 4. 5--5 times the siphonal width at point of attachment; the distal pair and lateral hair are shouter and single, their length 2--2. 5 times the siphonal width at point of attachment; (4) 2-s dark, strong, 2-6 branched. The new species is also closely related to C. orientalis, but can be distinguished by the pale spots of wing, the proboscis of male, the male genitalia and the larval characters. The larva is very Peculiar, in the genus, in the characters of the siphonal tufts, by which it may be distinguished from all other known species of mime- ticus group. Type speeimenss Holotype 1(?), paratype 34(?)(?). 43(?)(?), 7 males genitaliaes and 127 larvae, of which 12 were isolated. Type specimens are deposited in the Biology Department of the Guiyang Medical College.
