摘要(Abstract)：
记述采自贵州梵净山自然保护区武陵山的蚋属一新种 ,武陵蚋Simulium (Simulium )wulingensesp .nov .,对其雌虫、蛹和幼虫进行了形态描述 ,并与其近缘种进行了比较和分类讨论
This new species seems to be similar to S.fuzhouense Zhang and Wang ,1991 from Fujian,China, but the latter species is quite different in the following characters:The female has a cluster of numerous minute denticles on the cibarium, each arm of genital fork with a small projection directed forwards,inner margins of anterior gonapophyses nearly parallel-side and the spermatheca almost globular in shape and with hexagonal reticulate pattern on surface. The pupal integument is only covered with cone-like tubercles on the thoracic,tergum 6 without any stout spines and sternum 3-8 with comb-like groups of minute spines on each side.The larva has hypostomial setae 7-8 in mumber,rectal gill lobes each with 15-20 finger-like secondery lobutes and the posterior circlet with 110-115 rows of 13-14 hooks.The new species also closely resembles to S.ufengense Takaoka(1979) from Taiwan,but the female and larva of latter species is unknown,the pupa differs in some respects including the headal integument bare,tergum 6-7 without any stout spines and the thoracic trichomes only with 3 pairs dorsally.Type materials.Holotype♀,reared from pupa ,slide -mounted ,collected in a stream from Fanjing Mountain,Guzhou province (27°49′50″N-28°1′50″,700 m).15.Ⅷ,1997,Allotype 5 pupae and 5 mature larvae,all slide mounted and same deta as hollotype.
