摘要(Abstract)：

对贵州省9县市捕获的341只鼠体和62只麝鼩的血中锥虫进行了首次报道,阳性率为6.2％,感染率室内高于野外,据其形态观察及各项量度测量,暂定名为路氏锥虫Trypanosoma lewisi。
A total of 403 mice and rats, including a few shrews were collected from nine counties and cities in Guizhou province from 1981 to 1984. Stained smears were made from heart blood and examined under oil immersion microscope to search for trypanosomes. Among these 25％or 6.2％ were found to be positive. 87 parasites in the positive smears were measured and studied in detail and identified as Trypanosoma lewisi. The data and names and localities of the host animals examined were tabulated.
