GR—2低碘饲料的研究
A STUDY ON OR-2 LOW-IODINE DIET

摘要(Abstract):

为诱导实验性、地方性、缺碘性甲状腺肿和克汀病的动物模型,研制成功丁 GR—2号低碘饲料。鼠经3月饲养后发现:实验动物甲状腺增生、重量和体积明显增加,滤泡增多;血清 T_4值显著下降。结果表明:该饲料是复制缺碘性甲状腺肿和地方性克汀病动物模型的理想低碘饲料。
The purpose of our study was to prepare a low-iodine diet(LID)used to induce an experimental endemic iodine-deficient goiter and critism on rats. The diet is prepared primarily from the corn grown in an endemic goiter region.Theritamins,minerals and animal protein were supplemented.It contained 20-62.5ng of iodine per gram,58.5% of starch,13.8% of protein and 8% of fat.Enlargement of the thyroid,a folliculer hyperplasia of all experimental rats,after feeding on LID for three months were obserevd; weight of thyroid increased about B-fold to the control group,the serum thyroxine decreased to 3.08μg/100ml.there were more marked show by decreasing the body weight and reduing the body size.It was very difficult even unable to establish the escape coditional reflex.all those were similar to the clinical manifestation of human who had goiter or critin.The study had confirmed that the LID could used as diet reproduce a model of endemic goiter and critinism.
