苦瓜提取物对小白鼠致畸试验

摘要(Abstract):

本文对妊娠6~14天的雌鼠灌胃苦瓜提取物,以确定该药有无胚胎毒和致畸作用。结果显示低剂量范围(2.5ml/kg)苦瓜提取物对小白鼠无致畸和胚胎毒作用。高剂量组(15ml/kg)活胎数、胎重和胎鼠外形、内脏异常数与阴性对照组无差异,而孕鼠体重、死胎数和骨骼异常数与阴性对照组有差异。提示可能高剂量苦瓜提取物有轻度胚胎毒作用,但无致畸作用。五氯酚钠阴性对照组出现明显胚胎毒和致畸作用。
Momordica charantia extract was used in 23 pregnant mice by gavage to determine whether it has embryotoxic and teratogenic effects. The mice were divided into two groups (13 mice in dose of 2.5ml/kg/d10, mice in dose of 15ml/kg/d). In conclusion: In lower dosage group, M. Charantia Lnn extract showed no embryotoxic and teratogenic effects. The live mbryo number, embryo weight and the anomalies of embryo shape and viscera in high dosage group revealed no statistically significant differences, as comparing with negative control group. The pregnant mice weight, dead embryo number and skeleton anomalies revealed a significant difference with negative control group. It suggests that the M. charantia extract in high dose showed a lesser embryotoxic effect, but had not teratogenic effect in mice. The pentachlorophenol sodium salt revealed a marked embryotoxic and teratogenic effects in the positive control group.
