芦笋对人外周血自然杀伤细胞活性的影响The Effects of Asparagus Officinalis L on NK Activity of Human Peripheral Blood Lymphocytes

摘要(Abstract):
应用~(51)Cr释放试验研究了中药芦笋对人外周血自然杀伤细胞(NK)活性的影响。结果表明,芦笋汁在适当浓度范围内(3μg/ml~30μg/ml)对NK活性有明显的促进作用(P<0.05)。当与rIL-2联合应用时,可显著提高rIL-2在体外对NK活性的增强作用。芦笋对人外周血NK活性的这种促进作用不仅与剂量有关,而且与机体的免疫状态有关。这一研究结果提示芦笋可成为宿主抗肿瘤防御反应的增强剂应用在防癌治癌中。
The effects of asparagus officinalis linn on NK activity of human peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL) were investigated using ~(51)Cr release assay. After incubation of PBL with different doses of asparagus extract, the levels of NK activity were 36.6±4.88, 37.8±3.78, 57.1±10.62 and 52.4±2.21% in control, 300, 30 and 3μg/ml groups (mean±SD), respectively. When different doses of asparagus were used with 100u/ml of reoombination interleukine 2(rIL-2) in the incubation, the levels of NK activity were 36.6±4.88, 53.9±14.05, 42.0±9.99, 69.1±4.89 and 67.7±2.1% in control, rIL-2 only, 300, 30 and 3μg/ml groups (mean±SD), respectively. In different individuals with lower and higher fundamental NK activity(<35% and>35%), incubation of PBL with 30μg/ml of asparagus revealed that the levels of NK activity obviously increased in "lower" group from 33.9±1.06 in control to 58.5±3.39%(mean±SD). The results showed that (1) adequate doses of asparagus extract could improve NK activity as well as the effects of rIL-2; (2) asparagus was more effective in lower NK activity individuals, thereby suggesting that asparagus officinalis linn might be applied as a synergist in cancer prevention and therapy.
