摘要(Abstract):
The levels of the membrane Ca~2, Mg~2-Adenosine Triphosphatase (Ca~2, Mg~(2+)-ATPase) and the cytoplasm reduced Glutathione (GSH) and Gluthione Peroxidase (GPx) in the rat livers were studied in various age groups. The results showed that. 1. The levels of GSH and GPx in the rat liver exhibited a same tendency with aging:the mid-aged aroup (12 months) significantly higher than the yonng group (3 months) (P<0.01) ; the high-aged group (18 months) lower than the mid-aged (P<0.05 or P<0.01), but still higher than the young group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). 2.The activity of Ca~2, Mg~(2+)-ATPase:the mid-aged group significantly higher than the young group(P<0.05); the high-aged group lower than the mid-aged group(P<0.05). The results suggest that the contents of GSH, GPx and Ca~(2+), Mg~(2+)-ATPase in the rat liver are age-related. It is concluded that all above parameters may be used as indications of aging.
